Yoga Basics with Janet Lam meets from 8-9 a.m every Monday, except Dec. 24. Start the week feeling balanced, flexible and strong. This class includes fundamental yoga poses, and although not specifically a beginner’s class, the movement sequence can easily accommodate students new to yoga or returning to a yoga practice.

Tutu’s Quilters meets from 9:30 a.m.-noon every Monday, except Dec. 24, with Kathy Lukens. This get-together is for experienced as well as curious beginners to learn and practice quilting Hawaiian style. Initial supplies are provided or participants can bring something they are working on.

Advanced Ukulele meets from 9:30-11 a.m. every Tuesday, except Dec. 25, with students of Aunty Marjie Spencer. This group welcomes experienced players of all ages. Bring your ukulele and join in a morning of friendship and song.

Tutu’s House Writers’ Support Group meets from 10 a.m.-noon every Tuesday, except Dec. 25. Interested persons are invited to join this group of new writers to published authors. Come prepared to share something you are currently working on in an encouraging place to explore your writing voice and receive constructive feedback or comments if desired.

Reading Group for Jungian Beginners, a get-together with Jim Gordon, a clinical psychologist, gathers from 10 a.m.-noon every Thursday. This group is reading the writings of Carl G. Jung. Participants need to bring their own copy of “Memories, Dreams &Reflections” each week. Learn together as the group reads this book out-loud, word for word. Zumba Gold in a chair led by licensed instructor Renée Morinaka will meet from 10:30-11 a.m. this Thursday. This class is for those who have mobility or balance issues, but still love to move and dance. It includes stretching to upbeat music and activates hand, arm, leg and body movements. The group sits during the entire class. Bring water, a towel and wear covered shoes.
